Kingston, ON - RMC (1-2) ran into an undefeated opponent on Reunion Weekend, falling 63-12 at home to a powerhouse team from Guelph.
After Guelph jumped out to an early lead, RMC's leading scorer, Glenn Butler, scored a try for the Paladins to narrow the visitors' lead to 14-5.
Just before halftime, Paladins captain Thomas Weissenborn scored a try and Butler hit the conversion.
Guelph maintained a 35-12 lead after 40 minutes.
Guelph's defence didn't allow a point in the second half, while their offence continued to roll.
After a 63-12 loss to Guelph, RMC is on the road next weekend when they head to Peterborough to compete against the winless Trent Excalibur (0-3).
