LONDON, Ont. – Oshawa's
Jolesha Allen-Brown dropped a game-high 21 points on Saturday night in a 79-53 loss for the Ontario Tech women's basketball program to the Western Mustangs.
Saturday wrapped up the Ridgebacks first road trip against west opponents after playing the Windsor Lancers on Friday night.
Their schedule now continues at home when they face the Ryerson Rams on Wednesday night at the Campus Recreation & Wellness Centre.
• Allen-Brown led Ontario Tech with 21 points, while the Ridgebacks' leading scorer this season,
Dalyssa Fleurgin (Montreal, Que.) finished with 10.
• Western was led by Julia Curran's 17 points, with Rachel Fradgley and Elixabeth Leblanc scored 12 and 10 respectively.
• The Ridgebacks struggled to pull in boards in the loss, pulling in 31 to Western's 50.
Dalyssa Fleurgin led Ontario Tech with six.
