Kissel, Henderson lead UOIT to fourth-straight victory

OSHAWA, Ont. – The UOIT women's soccer team is back on track and now sit amongst the top teams in the OUA east after their fourth-straight win on Saturday afternoon.

Rhiannon Kissel (Peterborough, Ont.) and Taijah Henderson (Ajax, Ont.) each scored twice in the 4-0 defeat of the Toronto Varsity Blues.

Each of Kissel's goals came in the opening half, her first coming only eight minutes in on a penalty kick, followed by a 38th minute goal to close out the half. At that point the Ridgebacks were outshooting Toronto 10-3.

Henderson scored early in the second half, just over a minute in, to push the lead to 3-0. Her second goal of the match came off a pass from Kissel in the 59th minute.
