KINGSTON, Ont. – Mike Robinson (Stouffville, Ont.) scored the Ridgebacks' game-winning goal in overtime on Friday night, in a game that easily should have gone the Ridgebacks way in regulation.
 
The 2-1 victory over the RMC Paladins saw UOIT out shoot RMC 41-25 (36-23 in regulation), but Austin Hannaford kept the Ridgebacks frustrated with numerous unexpected stops for the Paladins.
 
Earning two points keeps the Ridgebacks in the top half of the OUA east standings as they continue their weekend swing on Saturday against the Concordia Stingers.

LIGHT THE LAMP

• Mike Robinson scored his 44^th goal as a Ridgeback and eighth of the season 2:56 into the three-on-three overtime.
• Austin Eastman (Lindsay, Ont.) assisted on Robinson's game-winning goal, but also scored his fifth of the season to open the scoring in the game with under three minutes to go in the first period.
• Matthew Muller scored the lone RMC goal.

BETWEEN THE PIPES

• Michael Bullion (Anchorage, Alaska) finished with 24 saves in his fifth OUA win. This is his second-highest save total since joining UOIT this year.
• Austin Hannaford made 39 saves in the loss for RMC.
