Bio

Passionate about creating a positive experience for student-athletes and committed to advancing the development of high-performance sport in Ontario, Lauren brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the Manager of Sport role.

Lauren joined the OUA in September 2024 after spending time at her alma mater, Nipissing University, as the Manager of Intercollegiate Sports. Therein, the bachelor of physical and health education graduate and former volleyball student-athlete oversaw compliance, logistics, and the overall operational framework of the Lakers athletic program. Her planning and execution spanned, among other components, home game logistics, competitive schedules, and budget management.

Further backed by a masters of sport management from the University of Windsor, Lauren also spent five years with the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) as the athlete development manager.

During her tenure with the OVA, Lauren managed five high-performance Team Ontario summer programs. She also played a key role in strategic planning, having acted as a liaison between the athletic development team and organizational stakeholders, executed programs on the inclusion of women in volleyball, and provided on-site management and customer service of Team Ontario events.
