U Sports Top Ten Tuesday - 14 OUA Teams Represented Across Four Sports
The U Sports Top Ten makes a return this week, as 14 OUA teams crack the polls across four sports.
In football, the Western Mustangs remain the highest-ranked OUA team after defeating the McMaster Maruaders on the road. The defending Yates Cup champion Laurier Golden Hawks sit in fifth, while Ottawa and McMaster are neck-in-neck sitting at eighth and ninth respectively.
For men's soccer, the Toronto Varsity Blues come in as the top ranked OUA team ath no. 3, while Guelph, who are the defending OUA champions sit in fifth. The Ryerson Rams, who are tied atop the OUA standings with the aforementioned Varsity Blues, come in at No. 7, while McMaster cracks the top ten in the ninth position.
The UOIT Ridgeblacks remain idle from last week, remaining the second-ranked team in the nation. The ottawa Gee-Gees climbv up to the No.4 spot, followed by the Queen's Gaels at No. 5.
In women's rugby, rivals Guelph and McMaster remain sepated by two teams, as the Gryphons are ranked third in the nation while the Mauaders are close behind at No. 6
