McMaster Athletics and Nike agree to new partnership deal

After becoming the first Nike school in Canada in 2012, McMaster Director of Athletics and Recreation Glen Grunwald is pleased to announce that the two sides have agreed on a new partnership agreement. The new deal will see Nike continue as the exclusive supplier of footwear, uniforms, and equipment for McMaster varsity teams. The agreement will continue to be serviced through local distributor T. Litzen Sports in Dundas.

"We are thrilled to renew our partnership with Nike and T. Litzen's Sports," said Grunwald, about the new multi-year agreement. "It is crucial that we have the support of great corporate partners, and it doesn't get much bigger than Nike.  We have done some amazing things over the life of this partnership, and I am confident even more is on the horizon."

As a key component of the on-going support from T. Litzen Sports, the company is generously donating a new scoreboard, complete with video capability, for installation in the Burridge Gymnasium.  The LITZEN FAMILY SCOREBOARD will be installed this fall in time for the start of the 2017-18 varsity sports season.
