BURLINGTON, Ont. - The following athlete has been named Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Peak Performer for the period ending February 16, 2016.

John Wright (Ottawa, Ont.) – 5th yr. – Queen's Gaels – Fencing

John Wright (Ottawa, Ont.) has been named the OUA Peak Performer after capturing three medals this past weekend at the OUA Men's Fencing Championship.

Wright, a fifth-year law major, won individual gold in Épeé to claim the Desjarlais Trophy and also came home with a bronze in the team Épeé relay.

The Ottawa, Ont. native was named an OUA All-Star after he led the Gaels to a third place overall finish behind the University of Toronto Varsity Blues and Carleton Ravens.
