Third-year Varsity Blues skater Chyna Hui came away from the OUA Winter Invitational well decorated, thanks to her four medal-winning performances at the event, and adding to her haul is an OUA Peak Performer of the Week nod.
BURLINGTON, Ont. – Chyna Hui has been named Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Peak Performer of the Week, presented by Investors Group, for the period ending January 30, 2018.

Third-year Varsity Blues skater Chyna Hui came away from the OUA Winter Invitational well decorated, thanks to her four medal-winning performances at the event, and adding to her haul is an OUA Peak Performer of the Week nod.
Hui was a true standout on the ice for the Varsity Blues, as she helped lead her squad to the overall title at the event. From the individual side, Hui earned top spot in the senior silver solo dance, while also bringing home a first place finish in the dance fours event – with teammates Jessica Reid, Stephanie Carroll, and Katia Orlova-Kramble. She wasn’t done there, however, as the Richmond Hill native rounded out her day with an additional gold and bronze medal.
Overall, Hui was a key contributor to the team’s 88 points and ultimate defeat over the second place Brock Badgers (67) and third place Western Mustangs (59), respectively.
