Varsity Blues So named OUA Peak Performer (Feb. 20)
BURLINGTON, Ont. – Bethany So has been named Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Peak Performer of the Week, presented by Investors Group, for the period ending February 20, 2018.

Bethany So, a now two-time Peak Performer this season, was named the OUA Female Most Valuable Player for the third time in her career, while leading the University of Toronto Varsity Blues to the 2018 OUA badminton title this past weekend at Ryerson.
The now five-time OUA all-star went undefeated in the No. 1 women’s singles and No. 1 women’s doubles action, en route to helping the Blues claim their third straight provincial banner and fourth in the past six years.
So, a fourth-year student within U of T’s Faculty of Medicine, outscored he opponents 187-109 over four No. 1 singles matches, while topping the opposition 126-59 with partner Vivian Kwok in the No. 1 women’s double spot.
