In the final tune up before the OUA Men's Fencing Championship on February 1-2, RMC standout Hugo Clements led his team to a gold medal finish in the men's sabre team relay at the Carleton Team Invitational tournament.
Burlington, Ont. – Hugo Clements has been named Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Peak Performer of the Week for the period ending January 12, 2020.

In the final tune up before the OUA Men's Fencing Championship on February 1-2, RMC standout Hugo Clements led his team to a gold medal finish in the men's sabre team relay at the Carleton Team Invitational tournament.
Clements, the captain of the Paladins men's sabre team, led RMC A to the top of the podium on a perfect day of competition. The third-year fencer and his team were ranked first after the poules before winning their way to the gold medal bout in the direct elimination rounds.
In the final, Clements and the Paladins topped their Kingston rivals, Queen's, to take home the win.
