Gaels' Richmond named OUA Peak Performer presented by Investors Group

BURLINGTON, Ont. - The following athlete has been named Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Peak Performer, presented by Investors Group, for the period ending February 7, 2017.

Ali Richmond (Toronto, Ont) – 2^nd yr. – Queen's Gaels – Squash

Ali Richmond (Toronto, Ont.) of the Queen's women's squash team has been selected as the OUA Peak Performer, presented by Investors Group, after she led the Gaels to their third straight title this past weekend.

Playing out of the No. 1 spot, Richmond, a second-year biology major, went 5-0 throughout the tournament while never losing a game sweeping each 3-0 for an overall 15-0 mark. She surrendered only 98 points against and allowed over seven points in a game just six times.

Following the tournament, the Toronto, Ont native was named OUA MVP and an all-star for the second time in as many seasons.
