Waterloo Warriors third baseman Michael Clouthier (Guelph, Ont.) has been named OUA Peak Performer, presented by Investors Group, after he went 5-for-7 (.714 avg) with four home runs and drove in 11 runs as the Warriors swept a doubleheader against York on Sunday afternoon.
In the first game, Clouthier went 3-for-5 with a walk, two homers, and 7 RBI in the 25-0, 7-inning decision against the visiting Lions.
As if that wasn’t already more than enough, the third-year honours therapeutic rec major added two more home runs and 4 RBIs as the Warriors once again cruised to a big 17-6 victory.
Clouthier and the Warriors return to the diamond on Saturday when they travel to Toronto, Ont. to take on the University of Toronto Varsity Blues.
