For the second time in a four week span, the powerful play of Laurentian Voyageurs’ Kadre Gray has earned him Athlete of the Week honours.
BURLINGTON, Ont. – Kadre Gray has been named Investors Group Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Male Athlete of the Week, powered by 2XU, for the period ending November 28th, 2017.

For the second time in a four week span, the powerful play of Laurentian Voyageurs’ Kadre Gray has earned him Athlete of the Week honours.
Gray was the Voyageurs’ top performer in the team’s two wins this week, playing a critical role in the eventual outcomes against Guelph and Algoma, respectively. The second-year guard poured in an efficient 39 points against the Gryphons, shooting over 50% from the field and from downtown, to go along with seven rebounds and seven assists.
Gray outdid his stat-stuffing efforts in the team’s tilt with Algoma; however, as he collected his second triple double of the season. Gray finished the game with another 30-point performance, this time notching 31, to go along with 10 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the nationally-ranked Voyageurs to their sixth win of the year.
The Toronto, Ont. native now leads the OUA in scoring (26.4 PPG), is second in assists (6.1 APG), and sits in a tie for sixth in rebounding (8.6 RPG) on the year.
