Fourth-year swimmer Kylie Masse earned four individual and two relay gold medals at the OUA Fairweather division championships this past weekend.
BURLINGTON, Ont. – Kylie Masse has been named Investors Group Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Female Athlete of the Week, powered by 2XU, for the period ending November 28th, 2017.

Fourth-year swimmer Kylie Masse earned four individual and two relay gold medals in leading the Varsity Blues women's swimming team to a first-place finish at the OUA Fairweather division championships this past weekend at the University of Guelph.
Masse, the 2017 100 backstroke world champio4n and world record holder, handily won the 50 (26.70) and 200 (2:04.72) backstroke events. She also won the 100 freestyle in a time of 54.05 seconds.
The LaSalle, Ont. native capped off the meet in the 400 freestyle; an event that she does not usually swim. Masse was the first to touch the wall in 3:48.43, the fastest time swam in this event in Canada this year.
She also helped the Blues to first-place finishes in the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays. Toronto won the meet with 1,147 points, 513 points ahead of the second-place Western Mustangs (634).
